Estimation of psychological features of asthma patients

Last years the tendency to increase of disease by bronchial asthma all over the world is marked. In this connection the further perfection of quality of diagnostics and complex therapy of this disease are actual. Thus special value has perfection of psychological diagnostics of asthma patients.

With the help of a technique of multilateral research of the person (MMPI) we have estimated the psychological status of 38asthma patients of mild and moderate degree in the age of from 35 till 55 years. Increase of a personal structure was typical of patients 1, 2, 3, 8-th and F to scales. Increase of a structure on a scale of depression testifies to propensity of patients to answer on distress development of depressive reaction and reveals at surveyed not only the reduced mood in connection with negative experiences, but also personal features: propensity to excitement and the raised(increased) experience of failures, uncertainty in. Higher parameters on 8-th scale with dominant 1-th scale are interpreted as ipochondria development of the person with occurrence synestopathyes. High parameters on a scale social introversion testify to internal disharmony of the person, to aspiration to avoid conflicts. Increase on a scale of reliability speaks the reduced control above emotions in connection with their insufficient comprehension.

Thus, the revealed feature of psychological changes asthma patients assumes realization of purposeful psychotherapeutic correction with use of psychotherapeutic techniques, psychotropic preparations.
