Infantile Schluckstörungen - in die Hand des Osteopathen

Zusammenfassung

Im Rahmen dieser Pilotstudie wurde untersucht, ob und mit welchen Tests Beschwerden, die mit der - schulmedizinisch oft nicht wahrgenommenen - infantilen Schluckstörung einhergehen oder daraus resultieren, erfasst werden können. Die Beobachtungen in dieser Pilotstudie weisen auf ein vielversprechendes therapeutisches Potential einer osteopathischen Behandlungs- serie hin und rechtfertigen eine größere kontrollierte Studie.

Summary

The scope of this pilot study was to examine whether and with which tests the complaints leading to or resulting from infantile swallowing disturbance - often not noticed by orthodox medicine - can be grasped. The observations of this pilot study indicate a promising therapeutic potential of a series of osteopathic treatments and thus warrant a larger controlled trial.

Des troubles de la déglutition - maux qui peuvent être traités par l’ostéopathe?

Au cours de cette étude pilote, on examina si et avec quels tests on peut recenser les maux qui accompagnent le trouble de la déglutition infantile ou bien qui en résultent - et qui ne sont souvent pas registrés par la médicine conventionnelle. Les observations faites dans cette étude pilote montrent un prometteur potentiel thérapeutique pour une série de traitements ostéopathiques et justifient une étude contrôlée plus étendue.
