ABSTRACT

Aging, memory loss, Alzheimer's disease, and other forms of dementia assume increasing importance to patients, physicians, and society as our population becomes older. Mild cognitive impairment, topography and semiology of dementia syndromes, reversible forms of dementia, dementia therapy, driving, genetic testing of patients and family members, and caregiver risk are reviewed.
