Zusammenfassung

Der Morbus Fox-Fordyce ist eine überwiegend bei Frauen vorkommende chronische Hauterkrankung, die mit teilweise stark juckenden hautfarbenen Papeln in Arealen mit apokrinen Schweißdrüsen einhergeht. Verschiedene lokale, systemische und chirurgische Therapieverfahren sind in den vergangenen 100 Jahren nach der Erstbeschreibung des Krankheitsbildes mit unterschiedlichem Erfolg bei einzelnen Patienten erprobt worden. Eine Standardtherapie existiert derzeit jedoch nicht. Wir geben eine Übersicht über bisher eingesetzte Therapieoptionen und berichten über eine 30-jährige Patientin mit axillär lokalisiertem Morbus Fox-Fordyce, bei der nach Versagen einer lokalen Retinoidtherapie durch die Behandlung mit einem Erbium:YAG-Laser (2940 nm) eine temporäre Abheilung der Läsionen für drei Monate erreicht werden konnte.

Abstract

Fox Fordyce disease is a chronic disorder of the skin predominantly observed in women and characterized by pruritic skin coloured papules located in apocrine gland-bearing areas. Since the first description of Fox-Fordyce disease 100 years ago, several topical, systemic and surgical therapies have been tested on individual patients without establishing a standard therapy. We review previous therapeutic options and report on a 30-year-old woman suffering from Fox-Fordyce disease confined to the axillae who failed to topical retinoid treatment and in whose case treatment with Erbium:YAG-Laser (2940 nm) led to a remission for three months.
