Zusammenfassung

Botulinumtoxin A wird in der Dermatologie zunehmend zur Therapie von mimischen Gesichtsfalten eingesetzt. Neben den besonders effektiven Ergebnissen in der oberen Gesichtshälfte bei Zornes- und horizontalen Stirnfalten sowie Krähenfüßen kann es unterstützend auch bei perioralen Falten und im Bereich des Halses und Dekolletees eingesetzt werden. Die niedrigen Dosierungen wirken 4 - 6 Monate und sind bei richtiger Injektionstechnik kaum von nennenswerten Nebenwirkungen begleitet. Andere kosmetische Maßnahmen sind gut kombinierbar.

Abstract

The use of botulinumtoxin A is increasingly common in dermatological treatment of hyperkinetic facial lines. Apart from the main indications in the upper half of the face like frown and horizontal lines and crows feet, botulinumtoxin can be used to support treatments of the perioral area, neck and chest. Low doses are effective for 4 - 6 months and using a correct injection technique show little severe side effects. Other methods in esthetic dermatology can be combined.
