ABSTRACT

The authors describe their experience with multipoint videoconferencing gained from regular multipoint videoconferencing and teleconsultations of four interventional departments in the Czech Republic and two multipoint, multicontinental video panel discussions at the 2001 Prague international workshop. A multipoint videoconferencing room was created on the basis of this experience, and its functions are described. Multipoint videoconferencing is considered a powerful tool in the education of interventional radiologists.
