ABSTRACT

There are many varieties of tele-education. As with any technology, these tools and techniques can be productive or counterproductive depending on how, when, and where they are used. Understanding the subtleties of the medium, its appropriateness for various tasks, and the learning styles and biases of the audience is essential to deliver on the promise of this resource.
