ABSTRACT

This article summarizes the current status of interventional radiology training in Japan, with special reference to the training system and characteristics. Some special regional diseases are frequently encountered in this country, and unique interventional approaches have been developed for these lesions. Training systems are also well tailored for these specific areas.
