Nadelakupunktur versus Laserpunktur: Synergismus oder Gegensatz?

Zusammenfassung

Sowohl Nadelakupunktur wie auch Laserpunktur sind gut eingeführte therapeutische Anwendungen, naturgemäß die Nadelakupunktur wesentlich länger. Die Frage, wieweit sich diese Methoden gegenseitig ersetzen können oder wieweit sie einander ergänzen, ist zu diskutieren. Wenn man die Wirkungsweise beider berücksichtigt, kommt man letztendlich zum Schluss, dass wohl in manchen Indikationen eine Methode die andere ersetzt, jedoch bei individueller Betrachtung für jede Technik Gründe angeführt werden, die das Nebeneinander beider Akupunkturmöglichkeiten durchaus berechtigt erscheinen lassen. So nimmt es einen nicht wunder, wenn letztlich die Kombination von Laser und Nadel indikationsbezogen als nützlich gesehen und so auch eingesetzt wird.

Abstract

Both needle acupuncture and low level laser puncture are well-established as classical methods, needle acupuncture being naturally the older. It is a known fact that different methods having basically the same results will always give rise to the question of which is better. Both methods have influence on live tissue and the energetic system of meridians - the needle through its stimulus, which triggers a reaction in the body, and the laser by means of light energy and photons. Needles and laser have some similar and some different effects on body functions because of their special influence on live tissue (harmonizing, neutralizing, toning and reducing). It is advisable to use laser on patients who are hypersensitive, have anticoagulants or very painful areas on the skin. Acupuncture triggers reactions in the body's nervous system; laser light does the same. It is possible to use fewer needles by combining needle acupuncture with laser treatment; this combination could be employed very effectively, especially as patient anxiety with regard to the needles can also be reduced. Needle acupuncture and laser puncture complement each other. They are both useful in combination, depending on the situation. Each method can be used by itself, but will never replace the other method completely.
