Neoplasms of the Anus

ABSTRACT

Neoplasms of the anus are uncommon. Knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology helps direct diagnosis and treatment. Anal canal cancers are treated with chemoradiation, whereas most other lesions are managed with wide local excision.
