ABSTRACT
Group audiologic rehabilitation programs have been shown to be an effective way to reduce return-for-credit rates and improve patient satisfaction with hearing aids. These programs are in the tradition of the roots of our profession, when the rehabilitation needs of veterans returning from World War II were the driving force. This article presents a rationale for including such programs in the modern audiology practice. Suggestions concerning content and implementation are provided.
