The coupling of prop-2-enyl oxirane and a (E, E)-farnesyl ß- sulfonylester with Pd(PPh3)4, in a highly regio- and stereoselective reaction and subsequent decarbomethoxylation and desulfonylation gave the (E, E,E-geranylgeraniol in an overall yield of 68%.
