A New Synthesis of 3-Bromo-2-methoxybenzoic Acid A convenient preparation of 3-bromo-2-methoxybenzoic acid (8) from 2-bromophenol via 3-bromo-2-methoxy-1-(1-propenyl)benzene (11) is presented.
