With great pleasure, we present this special issue of Digestive Disease Interventions with a focus on the Indian subcontinent. This issue showcases the clinical work and research predominantly from India, bringing an amalgamation of global guidelines and practices in India. It also highlights pertinent advancements and innovations in the field of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary interventions.

This special issue offers a collection of review articles that address emerging trends, technological advancements, and clinical challenges in various aspects of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary interventions. Topics covered include novel techniques for visceral artery embolizations, interventions for variceal and nonvariceal gastrointestinal bleeding, and pancreaticobiliary interventions, including pancreatic duct stenting. This may provide a platform for a better understanding of these conditions and practice patterns in the Indian subcontinent where economic and resource constraints prevail. This will also help in shaping the future of radiological interventions and improve patient outcomes.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the authors for their valuable contributions, the reviewers for their insightful critiques, and the editorial team for their dedication to curating this issue. We hope that this collection of articles will serve as a valuable resource for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing the field of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary interventions.

We look forward to continued support and collaboration from various experts involved to enhance patient care in this rapidly evolving discipline.
