Cerebellar hemangioblastomas are uncommon intracranial tumors accounting for ~1.5 to 2.5% of all primary intra-axial brain tumors. Surgical resection is the mainstay of treatment; however, hemangioblastomas are hypervascular tumors that can be difficult to resect safely. Preoperative embolization may aid in safe surgical resection. Here we demonstrate a case of a 79-year-old-male with a hypervascular, solid WHO grade 1 cerebellar hemangioblastoma who underwent suboccipital craniotomy for resection.
