Translacerum-Transcavernous Endoscopic Endonasal Approach for Resection of Multicompartmental Skull Base Chondrosarcoma

Skull base chondrosarcomas remain a surgical challenge despite advances in neurosurgical armamentarium and can be intimately related to critical neurovascular structures. In this operative video, we aim to discuss the surgical tenets of the translacerum-transcavernous endoscopic endonasal approach to expose this multicompartmental skull base neoplasm while preserving patient function and achieving gross total resection. Through the discussion, we will be remarking key anatomical landmarks needed for a safe resection.
