Summary

Development of different types of endotracheal tubes and connections used for cleft lip and palate operations, their merits and demerits are discussed. A further attempt at modification of these tubes and connections in respect of cleft lip and palate operations is discussed. A modification of endotracheal connection which satisfied all the requirements of an set up for operation on cleft lip and palate is described.
