Endovascular Management of IntrAabdominal Giant Arterial Aneurysm

Background: Intra-abdominal giant arterial aneurysm are rare anomaly, with high risk for rupture, management of these aneurysm differ according to the case and availability of instruments, the common trend is endovascular management rather than surgery. Different materials were used for embolization.

Case: Two cases of giant aneurysm reaching 7 cm in diameter, one originating from superior gastroduodenal artery presented with pressure effect, pain, and obstructive jaundice, it was managed by ASD occlusion device and the other case is aneurysm originate from splenic artery presented by pain minute leak and managed by glue (Histoacryl) injection.

Discussion: Intra-abdominal giant arterial have different presentations and managed by endovascular approach, one of our cases has large arterial feeders and managed by ASD occlusion device insertion, the second case is aneurysm from splenic artery and managed by glue injection.
