Summary
Phytotherapy in rheumatoid arthritis
Complementary therapies are enjoying a growing popularity in the population and are also in demand by patients with rheumatoid arthritis. An important topic in this context is the use of herbal remedies: Many phytotherapeutics are freely available in pharmacies and used by patients to relieve rheumatic complaints. However, scientific evidence about the efficacy of many herbal remedies is still sparse.
