Zusammenfassung

Orofaziale Schmerzen sind aufgrund ihrer Komplexität schwierig zu diagnostizieren. Die Autoren bieten einen Überblick über die Pathophysiologie und die beitragenden Faktoren der orofazialen Schmerzen inklusiver einer Klassifikation, die Physio- und Manualtherapeuten in der Praxis unterstützt – Handwerkszeug, um Patienten mit Gesichtsschmerzen adäquat zu untersuchen und zu therapieren.
