David J. Tate et al. Two-stage endoscopic mucosal resection is a safe and effective salvage therapy after a failed single-session approach

Cohort study examining the efficacy and safety of two-stage endoscopic resection of laterally spreading colorectal lesions ≥ 20 mm that could not be removed completely at the first resection attempt. Among 43 included lesions, complete removal at the second-stage procedure was successful in 36 (84 %), and long-term surgery could be avoided in 82 % of lesions.
