Hormonelle Darmkrebsprävention: als Koindikation der Diskussion wert?

Die Vorsorgekoloskopie in 10-Jahres-Abständen ist ein effektives Mittel zur Darmkrebsfrüherkennung und senkt sowohl Inzidenz als auch Letalität. Als Leistung der gesetzlichen Krankenkassen nehmen 6 von 10 Berechtigten ab 55 Jahren daran teil. Pro Jahr werden 6 – 7% der Neuerkrankungen dadurch entdeckt. Dies lässt eine Senkung der jährlichen Todesfälle um 0,005 – 0,006% erwarten [1]. Ist eine hormonelle Prävention vor diesem Hintergrund effizienter?
