Die Vollnarkose in der Zahnmedizin

Die Zahnmedizin ist geschichtlich eng mit der Anästhesiologie verbunden denn der amerikanische Zahnarzt Dr. Horrace Wells gilt als Begründer der modernen Anästhesiologie. Diese gemeinsame Tradition wird heute in Ländern wie Amerika und Japan fortgesetzt mit dem Zahnärztlichen Facharzt für Anästhesiologie, der gleichwertig neben seinem Kollegen aus der Humanmedizin praktiziert.
