A Case of Palmar Warts Treated with Homoeopathy

A 36-year-old female patient presented with complaints of multiple warts on the fingers, palmar surface of both hands, for the past 5 years. It was gradually increasing in number. No other complaints, no aggravating and ameliorating factors was found.

  • • Remedy selected: Lac caninum 10M/one dose. This medicine was selected on the basis of mental generals of the patient as they were more marked. Mentally, the patient was very low on confidence, had strong fear of snakes; she could not even see them on television or magazine. Warts on fingers is very characteristic of Lac caninum. Patient also had cravings for spicy food. All these were the indications for Lac caninum to be selected as similimum

  • After 1 month: warts showed improvement. Complete disappearance of warts was seen within three months of treatment ([Figs. 1] [2] [3] [4]).
