Für eine erfolgreiche Arzt-Patienten-Kommunikation ist es unumgänglich, den Gender-Aspekt mit einzubeziehen, da das Geschlecht maßgeblich den Erfolg der Gesundheitsvorsorge beeinflusst. Eine Außerachtlassung dieses Aspekts kann zu Fehlbehandlungen und Fehldiagnosen führen.
