  • EMDR ist eine wissenschaftlich begründete Psychotherapie(zusatz)methode.

  • Seit Januar 2015 wird die Behandlung von Erwachsenen mit PTSD von den gesetzlichen Krankenkassen in Deutschland rückerstattet.

  • EMDR ist eine über Psychotherapieverfahren (Verhaltenstherapie, tiefenpsychologische und analytische Therapie) hinweg klinisch sinnvoll ergänzende traumakonfrontative Methode.

  • EMDR sollte nur von entsprechend ausgebildeten und/oder supervidierten Therapeutinnen und Therapeuten durchgeführt werden.
