Introduction Human posture is defined as a particular position in which people stand or sit. Body limbs and head are situated in certain relation to each other and the environment. Proper posture is important for general health. Posturology is the science of posture. It is a multidisciplinary medical field which brings together specialists from different clinical units and helps to observe patients’ condition. The specific problem is considered not only through posture, but also by the body as a single compact system. The aim of the current poster was to review the relationship between human posture, vestibular disorders and dental health. The importance of the clinical findings from the postural analysis is emphasized as well.

Material and methods: Scientific databases – MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, PubMed were used for the research, with the following keywords – posturology, posture, balance, vestibular disorders, dental medicine, malocclusion for the 2000-2020-time period. Criteria for inclusion and exclusion of articles were applied.

Results After careful analysis of the selected articles, it was re-confirmed that there is a firm connection between human posture, vestibulopathies and dentistry. "Postural deficit syndrome" is largely associated with the maxillofacial system, and even an altered bite can change a person's posture, leading to difficulties maintaining balance in an economic way. Problems with balance (dizziness, vertigo) follow, which is associated with the vestibular apparatus, plantar modifications, occlusal changes or dysfunction of the temporomandibular joints.

Conclusion When body posture in static and dynamic activities is correct, pain, injuries, vestibular and other health issues can be prevented.
