77-year-old man with a history of duodenal ulcer, admitted to the emergency department for late postprandial vomiting. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showed punctiform stenosis in the bolbar vertex with a longitudinal extension of <5 mm.

Several balloon dilation sessions were performed without technical or clinical success.

Given the characteristics of the stenosis, it was decided to place a lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS), Hot-Axios (15x10 mm) with immediate technical and clinical success, without recurrence of vomiting.

LAMS are being used for the treatment of short segment GI strictures (<10mm) with good clinical and technical outcomes, based in few case reports.
