On Behalf of the International Journal of Epilepsy (IJEP) and Indian Epilepsy Society (IES), it gives me immense pleasure to welcome you on board and thank each one of you for the constant support. I thank the associate editors Drs. Anita Mahadevan and Ramshekhar N Menon for joining me on this new journey. I must appreciate the editorial board members for readily agreeing to be part of the new team and extend their support despite being busy with their professional commitments. It has been a testing time for all during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The first of two 2020 issues is getting published online for the first time. There are 6 peer reviewed articles covering various aspects of epilepsy in the current issue of IJEP.
