The Ayushman Bharat Yojana is now the frontline health care system of India catering to the most deprived and deserving sections. Nevertheless, the scheme is not without pitfalls. I wish to draw your attention upon why this scheme is tremendously unjust to the specialty of plastic surgery and the needy patients, and why it is self-serving to the other specialties.
