Autologous blood derivates A-PRF (the solid fraction) and I– PRF (the liquid fraction) are obtained by applying the Chokrun method of centrofugation. They are rich in growth factors, fibrin and mezenchimal cells which enhance the healing process after the Rhinoplasty operation. With cartilage paste or free diced cartilage loaded over the A-PRF membrane and stuck to it with I- PRF can be obtained nice overlay grafts for the nasal dorsum or nasal tip refingment. Mild soft tissue defects after Rhinoplasty can also be recovered successfully with these derivates.
