The success of endoscopic pituitary surgery requires a multidisciplinary therapy approach. Collaboration of various specialists is needed – an endocrinologist for diagnosis management and treatment planning, an otorhinolaryngologist with excellent endoscopic skills, a neurosurgeon with experience in skull base surgery. Joining efforts of an otorhinolaryngologist and a neurosurgeon in the operating room is crucial for a successful surgery. We are presenting our experience in a 4 hands technique in endoscopic pituitary surgery. We are discussing the advantages of this technique compared to microscopic 2 hands technique as well as the possible complications of this method. Our emphasis is on better access and therefore better results with the 4 hands endoscopic technique.
