Summary

The paper describes a simple method for the determination of fibrinogen and fibrinolysis especially suitable for serial examinations which may be performed with small amounts of plasma. In the procedures the amount of fibrin bound to the filter paper soaked in a thrombin solution is determined in the case of fibrinogen after washing, in that of fibrinolysis after incubation at 37° C and washing, by means of staining with fuchsine.
