Evidence that Human Platelet Aggregating Activity in Porcine Plasma is a Property of von Willebrand Factor

Summary
Plasma from normal pigs, but not from a pig affected with von Willebrand’s disease, aggregates human platelets. The aggregating activity therefore seems to be a property of porcine von Willebrand factor.
