Summary
Four years after the publication of the latest guidelines on diagnosis and therapy of venous ulcer the German Society of Phlebology defines a completely revised and expanded version after the review of the literature published in the meantime. Particular emphasis was laid on international standards, new chapters are related to socio-economic aspects, the physical perception of the patients and the implementation of the guidelines in clinical practice.
Zusammenfassung
Vier Jahre nach Veröffentlichung der letzen Leitlinien zu Diagnostik und Therapie des Ulcus cruris venosum legt die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Phlebologie nach Revision der zwischenzeitlich erschienenen Literatur eine vollständig überarbeitete und erweiterte Version vor. Besonderer Wert wurde auf internationale Normen gelegt, neue Kapitel beziehen sich auf sozioökonomische Aspekte, die körperliche Wahrnehmung der Patienten und die Implementierung der Leitlinie in den klinischen Alltag.

ICD 10 : 183.0 (sans inflammation) et 183.2 (avec inflammation)
4 ans après les dernières instructions pour le diagnostic et le traitement de l’ulcère de jambe veineux, la Société Allemande de Phlébologie s’est attelée à leur révision, compte tenu des publications récentes. La nouvelle version est donc élargie. Un intérêt particulier a été porté aux normes internationales; un nouveau chapitre concerne les aspects socio-économiques, la prise de conscience des patients et l’impact des directives sur la pratique médicale quotidienne.
* * These guidelines were compiled on behalf of the German Society for Phlebology (DGP) and agreed by the Executive Committee and Council of the DGP on 11. August 2008. These guidelines take account of the current literature, but not the differing national licensing requirements for various drugs.
