Zusammenfassung
Jugendliche mit narzisstischen Störungen sind durch ein grandioses, aber fragiles
Selbstbild, Größenfantasien, einem Bedürfnis nach Bewunderung und leichter Kränkbarkeit
gekennzeichnet. Aufgrund dieser Problematik sind vor allem Jugendliche mit narzisstischen
Störungen gefährdet, Amokläufe an Schulen zu begehen oder anzudrohen. Die zugrunde
liegenden psychischen Mechanismen werden dargestellt und Implikationen für den Umgang
mit “Trittbrettfahrern” und für die Prävention von Amokläufen werden abgeleitet.
Summary
Adolescents with narcissistic disorders are characterized by a grandiose yet fragile
selfview, fantasies of grandiosity, a need for admiration and hypersensitivity to
criticism. Due to this complex of problems especially adolescents with narcissistic
disorders are prone for school shootings or threats against schools. The underlying
mental processes are described and implications for the dealing with so called copycats
and the prevention of school shootings are derived.
