Zusammenfassung

In dieser Übersicht werden in einem Teil die Prinzipien der Schmerztherapie sowie die wichtigsten nicht medikamentösen und medikamentösen Therapieverfahren dargestellt. Dies erfolgt unabhängig von der Ätiologie der Schmerzen. In einem speziellen Teil werden die Neuerungen in der Therapie neuropathischer Schmerzen und der Kopfschmerzen sowie der Therapie mit Opioidanalgetika abgehandelt. Neue Substanzen und neue Applikationsverfahren bei den medikamentösen Therapie werden vorgestellt.

Summary

In this review, the general principles of pain therapy and the most important common pharmacological and non-pharmacological procedures for pain treatment are described. These procedures are applied independently from the pain origin. In a specific part of the review, recent advancements in the treatment of headaches and neuropathic pain and in pain treatment with opioids are described. New substances and new applications of drugs are introduced.
