Zusammenfassung

Krebs ist eine seltene Diagnose im Kindes- und Jugendalter. Die rechtzeitige Diagnose ist für den Heilungsprozess der Patienten wichtig. Daher werden in diesem Beitrag neben diagnostischer Erwägung auch Fragen der Struktur der medizinischen Versorgung krebskranker Kinder und Jugendlicher angesprochen.

Summary

Cancer is a rare diagnosis in childhood and adolescence. The early diagnosis seems to be relevant for the prognosis. Thus, in this paper the diagnostic process as well as the structure of an optimal medical service is described.
