This issue, with a cerebellar theme, is dedicated to the memory of Andrea Poretti, who was a member of our Editorial Board only for a short period. One of us, N.I.W., was Andrea's colleague in Zurich and had the privilege of working together with him on several projects. His early death on March 20, 2017 has resulted in shock and sadness in the community of pediatric neurologists worldwide. We are grateful for his much-valued contributions to this journal, both as reviewer and author. Witness to his achievements are the four articles in this issue he wrote or co-authored. Andrea Poretti will be missed by many scientific colleagues and personal friends and remembered for many years to come.
