Abstract

Salmonella osteomyelitis is unusual in nonsicklers. We report the case of a child with T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) on maintenance therapy who developed osteomyelitis of two different flat bones. The culture grew Salmonella paratyphi B. Surgical drainage and appropriate antibiotic therapy led to complete resolution of this unusual infection.
