Impfbrief.de has been online since May 2007. It addresses German speaking health care professionals (e.g., public health service, health care workers, practitioners), the media and interested members of the public. The aim of this website is to be an essential source of the latest scientific/validated news on vaccines and vaccination, e.g., from literature, conferences, ECDC, WHO. It includes background on vaccine-preventable diseases and vaccine safety and vaccine scares. Obstacles to immunization are openly addressed. This includes a Q&A section and also tables of essential contents (e.g., comparisons of old and new vaccines or comparisons of coverage rates in different regions). Information on content and statistics on usage are given.
