Handwriting is the most common, simple and well-known form of drawing, as unique for the individual as his fingerprint, and well-known for revealing a considerable amount of information about the writer's personality and psychology (graphology). Accordingly, any kind of drawing can reveal characteristics and properties of its drawer if decoded. Drawing tests are used in psychology. Paintings of psychiatric patients are presented in special exhibitions, are included in psychiatric textbooks and are used to evaluate the patients' psychopathology and progress.

The present “tree drawing test” presentation is based on the drawings of homeopathic patients, decoded and explained in details, revealing homeopathically important information for each patient, Information that maybe not be mentioned by the patient spontaneously but is confirmed only after direct questioning.

The “tree drawing test” can reveal information not only about the patient's personality and psychopathology, but also about his psychological strength, sexuality, partnership, life creativity and even past life events.

In cases of psychopathology, after the action of the simillimum, the trees can also show the positive changes that have taken place, even before the patient refers to them spontaneously.

Additionally, the tree test can be used as an observation exercise for teaching students of homeopathy: the students can be asked to try to observe everything (all characteristics of the trees) and to describe them as precisely as possible, following the basic principle for taking the case: completely and precisely.
