Constitution is the study of the human type, an imprint in relief, the result of an impression which gives to a human being a state of characteristics, which are personal to him alone, based on the theory of constitutional typing by Nebel and Vannier and referred to by Professor Eizayaga as the “genotypical” constitutional type. The interpretation of these characteristics permits an understanding of his behaviour and the human functions, with which he is endowed. The constitution is that which is. The temperament is that which developes. The constitution is the least changeable aspect of the person's totality. The constitution of a human being does not change. It is related to the heredity of the person himself, whom with his birth is thus signed, or rather signified. It is based largely on the structures and compositions of ones tissues and skeletal framework and therefore is immutable. In the course of studying the constitutions, and identifying their sensory functional phenomena and objective signs, we can make a clear correlation to the characteristics of three important remedies in the material medica homeopathica: Calcarea carbonica, calcarea phosphorica and calcarea fluorica.

Our skeletal and dental structures are composed of three calcium salts – the carbonate, phosphate and fluoride. Each of these salts impregnates our teeth and bones and thereby imparts us distinctly different anatomical characteristics, different metabolic types as well as different disease propensities.
