Abstract

An unusual presentation of absence seizure in a boy in the form of “throttling sensation” has been described. He has responded well to valporate after confirming the diagnosis by electroencephalogram. This is to emphasis the pediatricians about the importance of referral to neurologists for appropriate diagnosis if they encounter such atypical symptoms among their patients.
