Abstract

Kala-azar is a common condition prevalent in several parts of India. The typical clinical presentation includes fever, gross emaciation, anemia, hepatosplenomegaly. Several other clinical patterns of involvement have been identified. We report a case of visceral leishmaniasis with bilateral parotid swelling, an association hitherto unreported in literature.
