Summary

No sports – 30 minutes of activity to stay fit

A large number of adults are physically inactive although it is scientifically proven that already 30 minutes of moderate physical activity per day can improve the general health status and prevent chronic diseases. Often, the lack of specific ideas to increase daily physical activity inhibits the achievement of these recommendations. Hence, this article aims to provide practically oriented suggestions to increase physical activity in daily life. In addition, it offers a manual of complementary specific exercises to enhance general physical fitness.
