Zusammenfassung

L-Carnitin hat wichtige Funktionen im mitochondrialen Stoffwechsel; typische Symptome eines Mangels sind Energie-defizit und muskuläre Schwäche. Die Aminosäure hat therapeutisches Potenzial bei verschiedenen Erkrankungen und insbesondere in der Onkologie.
