Limonium caspium is a member of Plumbaginaceae family. This plant is well known in folk medicine for it is wide therapeutic uses. Extensive study of alcoholic extracts of L. caspium led to isolation of two new sulfated flavonoids (1) and (2) and two known poly-hydroxylated flavonoids (3) and (4) for the first time from this species. The structures of the isolated flavonoids were elucidated by using 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy as well as HR-ESI-MS. The isolated compounds were identified as 3,5,7,4',5'-pentahydroxyflavone-3'-sulfate (1), myricetin-3'-sulfate (2), 5-methoxymyricetin (3), 3,5,7,3',4',5'-hexahydroxyflavone (4). All isolated compounds were evaluated for their antimalarial, antileishmanial, antifungal and antimicrobial activities.
