This special focus issue, which was organized by Toshi Nakamura, is devoted to arthroscopic and open treatment methods for foveal disruptions of the DRUJ. This difficult problem is discussed in detail both from a diagnostic and management perspective by some of the innovators in this field. The authors give a variety of different techniques that can be used in different situations, which gives the treating surgeon myriad treatment options. The Journal of Wrist Surgery also welcomes the greater involvement of our assistant editors, Guillaume Herzberg, MD and Toshiyasu Nakamura, MD, who will be coordinating the future special focus issues and taking on a greater role in the editing process. Special thanks to Kelly Coffey and Kenny Chumbley and to all of our overseas copyeditors and printers for another fantastic year and for the continued oversight of Graham Brumfield. I wish all of our readers and Journal of Wrist Surgery contributors a Happy New Year and look forward to working with all of you in 2015.
