Abstract

Autoimmune diseases belong to those diseases where the etiology often is unclear. Especially in this field, conventional medicine mainly deals with the symptoms and uses an immunosuppressive treatment. With this approach, many chances with respect to diagnosis and therapy are missed. The article shows, how it was possible to avoid an immunosuppressive treatment in the case of an 18 years old female patient suffering from an “undifferentiated collagenosis” with an unclear etiology by using a consequent complementary diagnostics and therapy.
